A New Course on Integral Philosophy
Join me for this nine week course on Jean Gebser and The Ever-Present Origin
Dear readers,
I hope 2023 is treating you well. I’m stepping back from a semi-retreat from social media usage to let you know that, yes, the Fragments book writing/editing is going well, and my new online course is now open for registration. It starts March 7 and goes until May 2.
“Seeing Through the World: Integral Consciousness and The Ever-Present Origin”
This one is different from the previous years: it’s all new lesson materials, presented live on Zoom over the course of nine weekly sessions.
There will also be an additional experiential component to the class, with scheduled collective presencing sessions.
The collective presencing sessions are designed to complement the lectures: senseful immersions into the structures of consciousness as they interplay through shared inquiry and participation.
See the registration page for a full description of the course.
Alumni and Patreon students receive a significantly discounted registration rate (upon becoming a Mutations patron you will receive a link to that discount).
If you need a student/sliding scale rate, please do send me a note: jeremy (at) nura learning (dot) com. No one will be turned away.
Students can anticipate these learning outcomes:
deepen their capacity for intuitive, conceptual and personal insight into Gebser’s unique transmission of integral consciousness
develop embodied and experiential insight on how the whole history of consciousness — the archaic, magic, mythic, and mental respectively— continues to live in and through them in the spiritual present
acquire tools and capacities for cohering and navigating an age of cultural fragmentation and worldview transition
explore and discover works of art, philosophy, and media that enriches their experiential learning about consciousness unfoldment
relate insights on the integrative worldview with the importance of ecological thought and the reconnection with our more-than-human kin
discover applications in their own fields of engagement: from artistic, creative, and design applications to spiritual, ecological and academic praxis
learn individual and group exercises for embodying integral consciousness in daily life
I’m so looking forward to this one. Teaching the Fragments class last fall was an eye-opener for me: live, rather than pre-recorded sessions was a beautiful way to create an intensified and engaged learning environment. It taught me a lot too. Deep-diving Gebser’s writing this year, as I wrap up the new book, I’m sure will be quite a potent catalyzing experience.
More updates soon, friends. Thanks for reading. See some of you in class.
In gratitude,
Jeremy
